Q: What do I need to provide for my dog to stay with you? A: Please bring the food they are used to eating, any medications, Rabies Shot Records.
Q: Where do my dogs sleep? A: Pretty much where ever they are comfortable. We have bed sleepers, cuddlers, floor sleepers, and sofa sleepers.
Q: How many dogs do you keep at a time? A: We prefer not to have more than 5 dogs at a time at each home. IF there is a situation, with a holiday or more than one dog from a family, we may make an exception, based on behavior of the animals/size of the pets, personalities, and some more situations.
Q: Do you board animals other than Dogs? A: Yes! We watch birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, pretty much anything you might need taken care of!
Q: Are the dogs ever left alone? A: Yes, at some times, we still have our own errands, or quick stops to make. We try never to leave the pets alone for more than 2 hours- but if we do leave them alone, we either make sure they are all comfortable together, or we separate them as needed.
Q: Do you use cages? A: Not on a regular basis, however if there is any issues (food aggression, behavior) we may kennel your pet as needed. This can be further discussed on a personal basis.
Q: Are the dogs left overnight alone? A: Never. We do not leave them alone overnight, that's what makes us better than some other locations. We always are home, and live at this home so we care for them as needed!
Q: Do you require a meet and greet? A: We prefer to have all dogs come and do a meet and greet with us, since we like to screen the dogs behavior and make sure they are safe in our homes.
Q: Do you provide any discounts? A: Yes. We offer discounts, for more than 10 day stays in our home, or overnights in your home.
Q: Do you charge more for Holidays? A: We may have an up-charge for holiday stays, depending on demand. We are able to waive this fee, if you pay a deposit (non refundable) when making your plans to stay. We follow the School calendar for Flagler schools. Holidays are considered days they are on Vacation.
Q: Does my dog need to be fixed/spayed? A: No, They do not. We also accept dogs that are not Fixed/Spayed. There is an additional charge for these pets because of the liability. However, if we are not home- they will be separated from any dogs.
Q: Is there any breeds you do not allow to stay? A: No. It's not the breeds we turn away, but the personality. Sometimes some dogs that are not property socialized, may not get along with other dogs. This is why we prefer a meet and greet with your pup. We have alternative situations available if you need them, instead of staying at our home.
Q: Are my dogs left alone during the day? A: Yes, sometimes they will be alone. For common situations, like grocery store errands, or quick visits to another clients home. We do not allow them to be alone for an extended time. Until we learn the personalities of any dogs, we always take on the side of caution, if we have any concerns about them being alone- we will either have someone stay with them, or separate dogs until we return.
Q: How many animals will you care for in a stop in, or overnight? A: We do not have a limit, however there is a charge for extra animals after two. Sometimes if there is 5-6 cats, it takes a while to feed and clean litter boxes, as well as give attention :)
Q: Do you have specific drop off/pickup times? A: We do not have set pickup and drop off times. However, our rates are for 24 hours of care. If you drop off at 4pm, we prefer you pickup BEFORE 4pm the next day. After 4, you would be charged for an additional night.
Boarding pickups/drop offs between hours of 8am-8pm Daycare hours are 8:30-6pm
